When I was embarking on my financial independence journey 15 years ago, I failed to find a platform that women could use to ask silly questions, gain support or feel heard. All the content online seemed to be targeted towards males. Due to the lower representation of female financial advisors in the industry, I struggled to find one I can trust, who could understand my situation, help me navigate through my financial decisions and guide me to building long-term wealth rather than simply 'sell' me a product with the motive of earning a commission.
That’s why I founded HerFI! So, no other female has to spend those hours sifting through irrelevant material on the internet or listening to another jargon-filled lecture on investing that they cannot relate to or struggle to find a registered financial adviser in New Zealand whom they cannot trust or who do not share the same values as them.
So my message to you is this. Please don't be the early me! Please take this opportunity to get out from behind your desk, connect, and find a faster path forward- with the support from exceptional industry experts on your team who'd be so very honoured to sit beside you on this journey.
